In partnership with the nonprofit, The Climate Change Project, in 2023, IRP became a Climate Neutral Certified brand.
With a 17% reduction in carbon emissions from 2023, IRP is proud to have achieved 2024 Climate Neutral Certification for the second year in a row.
As neighbors and business partners, we are dedicated to doing better each day. Our commitment to balancing our carbon footprint sees us joining a community that is working towards bettering the planet through consistent and positive business practices.
The Climate Neutral Certified seal of approval is a globally recognized standard for carbon accountability
Our Climate Neutral Certification was accomplished through accountability, action and commitment within following three areas:
1) Measure
We calculated our total carbon emissions including energy and fuel, product output and materials, shipping and receiving, employee transportation, office supplies, waste and more.
2) Reduce
With our carbon footprint measured and documented, we are taking action to reduce our emissions. Our reduction plan holds us accountable for continuing to implement efficiencies and evolving our practices.
3) Contribute
With our reduction plan in place, to compensate for all of our measured carbon emissions, we have offset 100% of our carbon footprint by investing outside of our value chain in climate change solutions.
